This morning I woke up and was delighted to notice that the world has not ended. Actually I should have noticed that yesterday already, because the LHC experiment was started yesterday afternoon.
But all this fussing about world's end makes one forget what it's exactly about... Science! And what is it about? Well, alpinekat has put together a pretty astonishing rap video about CERN, and in particular about LHC.
I think this is a great way to convey science! (^_^)
Revision: The LHC is working properly, but so far the scientists haven't actually shot particles again each other... so still some suspense if the world will end or not (^_-)

Nothing in particular. I was reading a lot about the LHC and yesterday they showed a live documentary at the ETH about the first experiments from CERN. So it catched my attention.
It makes sense that you're saying "nothing in particular". It's now one of the hottest headlines in science news, as it's said that some named 10th of September as "the big bang day". But here I can see the difference between you and myself. I saw a cnn video 3 days ago, which was sent to me by one of my friends, and I was excited enough to read here and there about LHC, but not that much to write something, or wake up with LHC in my mind, or even find a rap video about it! (^_^)
And thank (or ARIGATO as Dan says! (^_-)) for the video!
